How it works

From a meaningful song to a personal dedication

SendaSong turns a track and your own words into a shareable message. The process takes a few minutes, but choosing the right words deserves care.

1. Choose the person and purpose

Decide what you want the recipient to understand: appreciation, an apology, encouragement, celebration, or simply “this reminded me of you.” A clear purpose makes the song and message easier to choose.

2. Find the track

Search by song title or artist. Before selecting it, consider the full meaning and tone—not only the chorus or title. SendaSong displays track information and directs the listener to the music provider.

3. Write an original note

Explain why you chose the song. Mention a shared memory or the feeling you hope it communicates. Avoid copying lyrics; your own brief, specific message is more personal and avoids copyright problems.

4. Choose visibility carefully

A public message may be discoverable on the Browse page. An unlisted message is intended for people who receive its link, but any recipient can still forward or capture it. Never include addresses, phone numbers, private health information, passwords, or secrets.

5. Review and share

Check names, tone, privacy, and the selected track before creating the link. Send it directly to the intended recipient instead of posting it broadly unless everyone mentioned is comfortable with that.
